The Best Breakfast Sandwich

There is nothing better than waking up on a Saturday or Sunday and being greeted by something awesome to eat. The Best Breakfast Sandwich is a tower of microgreens, a hash brown, gooey cheese, thick bacon, add a drippy egg surrounded by a crisp roll. This deliciously indulgent breakfast is what separates the ordinary from the extraordinary.

Ingredients for The Best Breakfast Sandwich:

1 sandwich

1 good roll, halved

1 egg

2 slices thick cut bacon, cooked

1 slice American Cheese

1 hashbrown, heated until crisp

a small handful of microgreens

kosher salt

black pepper

cooking spray

Time-Saving Tip: I cook the bacon a day in advance and gently reheat in the microwave.

Let's see what we need.

We're ready to cook.

Crack a cold egg in a cup or small bowl. Coat a nonstick pan with cooking spray. Once heated, gently pour in the egg. Cook until the bottom layer of white is firm and turn over. Cook another 40 seconds or more until the egg feels soft when cooked.

Place some microgreens on the bottom half of the roll. Top with the hot potato, cheese, bacon, and then egg—season with salt and pepper.
