With every chicken wing, I devour I enjoy them more and more. The variations are endless and they're so easy to prepare. These, in particular, are a snap. I use a disposable pan which means no clean-up and I season the wings with spices from my pantry. This simple prep results in such delicious wings that you'll be amazed. You better make extra because this won't last too long.
Ingredients for Pantry Chicken Wings:
4 pounds of chicken wings
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
Cooking spray
Time-Saving Tip: Using disposable pans is a big time saver when it comes to clean up. The seasoning mixture can be prepared in advance.
Let's see what we need.
We're ready to cook.
Combine all of the spices in a small bowl. In a large baggie add the chicken wings and pour in the spice mixture. Close the bag and move the wings around coating them completely with the spices.
Preheat the oven to 450-degrees. Coat the disposable pans with cooking spray. Add the wings and spray them with more cooking spray. Place in the oven and roast for about 45 minutes or until desired crispness. Rotate the pans while roasting and flip the wings over midway thru cooking. See what a mess the pan is after they finish roasting? You will be so happy if you use disposable pans.
They're ready! These are so easy to make and chances are you have most if not all of the spices in your cabinet. These are full of flavor and disappear quickly.
Enjoy!

Thanks so much, Kevin. I’m so happy that you like the method I used. It was easy and the result so rewarding. I agree...a “desert-Island food” for sure. :)
Your recipe/method look fantastic, V.! :-) Wings are one of those simple/satisfying/perfect foods that like eggs or cheese, could be a "desert-island food"... something I'd choose if I could only eat ONE food-item rest of my entire life! <3
