After a week of holiday baking and decorating, I'm ready for a cocktail. And nothing says a good time more than this delicious Cranberry Margarita. It has the perfect color and contrast of flavors with cranberry juice and is one of my favorite drinks. Cheers!
Ingredients for Cranberry Margarita:
2 drinks
3 ounces tequila
2 ounces Cointreau
2 ounces unsweetened cranberry juice
1 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
1 - 1/2 ounces simple syrup, depending on how sweet you like your drinks
ice
Serve with limes and kosher salt
Time-Saving tips: Have all of the ingredients ready to go before preparing the drinks.

Let's see how it's done.
To make the simple syrup mix the water and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl or pitcher. Microwave for a minute and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Cool the syrup before using.
Combine all of the ingredients in a mixer with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled glass. I like to rub a sliced lime on the rim of the glass and dip it in kosher salt before adding the drink.
It's ready! This Cranberry Margarita is easy to prepare and perfect for the holiday season.
