I always love having a special drink to offer my guests during the holidays season. Cranberry Gin and Tonic is perfect. It's delicious and the color is so festive. With a little planning this drink comes together so quickly.
Ingredients for Cranberry Gin and Tonic
Cranberry Syrup (Click HERE for the syrup recipe)
Favorite Gin
Tonic Water
Limes
Ice
Time Saving Tip: Make the Cranberry Syrup a day or even a week in advance. It will be nice and chilled.
Let's make our cocktail...
Pour your favorite gin into a tall glass filled with ice. I think a good ratio is a third of gin to two thirds of tonic water.
Add one tablespoon of the syrup to the glass.
Now add the tonic. I add two thirds of tonic to one third of gin. You can give it a quick stir.
Cut the lime into four or six pieces depending on the size. Take one of the pieces and squeeze into the glass. I like a lot of lime juice in my drinks. You can drop the squeezed piece of lime in the drink. Give it another stir and garnish with another slice of lime.
This drink is so delicious and refreshing. You can make one or make a bunch and share with friends.
Cheers!
