These candied pecans are delicious. They are great on their own or in salads. They also complement any cheese tray and are perfect for holiday gift giving. Make a couple of batches because they always disappear quickly.
Ingredients for Candied Pecans:
2 cups whole pecans
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, optional
2 pinches cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Time Saving Tip: These Candied Pecans keep well so you can make them ahead. You can store them for a week in a tightly covered container.
Let's see what we need.
Now let's cook.

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Stir until thoroughly combined.

Pour the pecan mixture onto a parchment lined cooking sheet. Bake for approximately 20 minutes stirring once or twice. When ready the pecan mixture should be bubbling.

They are ready. This is such an easy recipe. Sometimes around the holiday season I make a lot of these and give them as gifts. Everyone loves getting them.
Enjoy!
